Jordans Picture House is a community cinema whose sole aim is to provide film screenings for the enjoyment of the residents of Jordans Village and neighbouring communities. We have no commercial interests and any personal data that we gather and process will be kept to a minimum, held safely and not used for any purposes beyond keeping you informed about our activities, communicating with you in general and handling your bookings for our events.
Website Cookies and Google Analytics
Depending on the settings within your internet browser, “cookies” may be used to collect information about pages viewed and your journey around our website. Jordans Picture House itself does not gather or access such information. We may be provided with limited, summarised reports through Google Analytics or through our website hosting company, but these consist only of collated statistics and do not disclose any personal information. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Whilst in our venue (Jordans Village Hall) you may access the guest wifi service.
This is provided by Jordans Village Limited, who may collect information about:
i. your device;
ii. the volume of data which you use;
iii.the websites and applications which you access; and
iv. your usage by access time, frequency and location.

As part of the registration process for membership of Jordans Picture House, we collect a limited amount of personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about our activities; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletters and messages to our Members. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our mailings. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails or by emailing us at email@example.com .
Ticketing and Payment Data
You may, of course, purchase a ticket (or tickets) in person directly through our local Box Office without supplying the aforementioned personal data online. Please be assured that this information will be held securely and we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.
We may share anonymised personal information with other organisations, particularly Cinema For All and BFI (British Film Institute), who use this to analyse our audience development programmes, ticket sales and self-generated funding to understand the impact of the investment made in supporting community cinema activities.
Access to your Personal Information
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Any such request should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org .
