Our History
Jordans Picture House was established on a three months trial basis by a group of volunteers in 2016 with the aim of providing accessible, affordable community cinema in the heart of our village. In our first season we showed ten films, eight of which were sell-outs. Nearly 500 tickets were sold. Clearly a new "go-to" village event had been created, and there was no turning back!
We have now established ourselves as a properly formed Society with a Constitution and a Committee (see our "People" page) and we offer lifetime membership for a nominal fee (£10) to those who wish to show their support in this way.
