Jordans Picture House was created in the summer of 2016 on a 3 months trial basis by a Working Group of five village residents with a shared interest in cinema and a commitment to community activities. Following the hugely successful first season we formalised ourselves into a properly constituted Society with a Committee, headed by our Chairman Alan Sealy whose tireless enthusiasm has driven this forward from the start. We are also fortunate to have the invaluable support of numerous others who assist us with setup and stripdown before and after our screenings, running the bar, technical input and front of house activities. Thank you to all of them, and of course enormous thanks to all those in our audience without whom JPH would not exist!
